Good Work at Cannes Lions
Joseph Maduma
May 22nd 2011Cannes Lions have partnered with YouTube and creative agency Ralph to create a competition calling on the best young creative talent in the ad industry to answer briefs for non-profit organizations seeking to raise the profiles of the critical issues they address. Creatives had 48h to create and sumbit a 60 second video addressing one of the non-profit’s briefs. Unfortunately I came in late on this so the competition is now closed but there is some excellent work that has been posted on the site. After the festival has finished YouTube and Cannes Lions plan to establish ‘Good work’ as an ongoing platform in order to continue connecting creatives with non-profit organisations. One of my favourite entries is below but you can find other entries for Sound School, Love146, Crisis and many others on the .
Here is an example of the kind of work that has been submitted. Really nice video for Sound School.
